Day 3, Part 2... Balboa Island!

My sister, Jenny took us for an adventure to the Balboa Pier. We took her Suburban onto a ferry boat and traveled across the water to Balboa Island. Henry fell asleep, but I did manage to get this picture of his first ride on a ferry boat.

I love this picture of Jenny and I, just as the sun is going down.

The sign here says "Fresh, Dead Squid" and we were all thinking kind thoughts of Squidward from Spongebob.

We ate at Ruby's (a 1950's Diner Place) at the end of the pier. These airplanes are actually the kids menus, they fold into planes. We all had milkshakes, burgers and chicken strips... great food and great fun to eat on the pier.
