Happy Easter and a New Truck

The weekend before Easter, we went to Powell's Candy Store for the first time.

It was great to see all the old fashioned candy. We were lucky to get out of there for $15.

Later, we went to the Boise Zoo's annual Egg Scramble. You can't see our kids here, but this is what it was like. We got in line for the 6 to 10 year olds. Then they started the count down. The kids took off running at once, and no one got trampled.

Here's Henry in camouflage and Helen is in the middle with the purple shirt and bluejeans. They had a great time, but I had to explain to Henry that this wasn't actually EASTER! It wasn't for another week yet.

We dyed 24 eggs this year. We're still eating egg salad sandwiches and loving them.

The kids gather eggs and candy first thing in the morning... so this is what they really look like!

Joe got a 2004 Chevy Silverado pickup truck.

Happy kids posing for a picture before going for a ride with dad (in the cab, of course).
Hope all is well with you. We are all healthy and happy and doing great.
