The Western Idaho Fair

We went to the fair on Friday. It was a hot, hot day. When we left the house it was 92' at 10:30 a.m. The fair opened at 11:00 and the first ride we went on was the carousel. This carousel was FAST! I had to really hold on.

But Helen decided to let go and just hold on with her legs.

Next, we went on the airplanes. I went in with Henry, so I couldn't get a picture of him because we were so close together. He had a great time pulling the lever to make the plane go up and down.

After that, we were ready to see the animals before they got too hot. For $1 the kids each got a Dixie cup of feed.

This animal is called a Watusi. Isn't that a dance?

Henry and Helen really liked feeding a baby goat.

The kids always enjoy looking at the baby chicks.

Brushing an extremely big and pregnant cow.

Helen was the lone rider on the dragon roller coaster!
