History Museum, Checkerboard Cake and Gymnastics

We went to the Idaho Historical Museum on Tuesday with our friends Thomas and Elise.

Helen had a hard time getting up onto the ladies side-saddle.

The young explorers.

A mountain goat and a huge salmon behind Helen.

Silly kids looking at items from the Penitentiary.

We made a checkerboard cake (thanks, Jenny for the pan!). It turned out really good.

The kids had so much fun making this cake, and it didn't last too long.

Helen took this picture holding the camera out in front of us. Henry put the flower in my hair when we went for a walk by the creek earlier that day.

All suited up for gymnastics.
